Introduction on Analysis Laboratory of Beijing Nutrition Resources Institute:
Beijing Nutrition Resources Institute was established in 1976. It affiliates to Beijing Academy of Science &Technology, Beijing Municipal Science& Technology Commission.
As one part of Beijing Nutrition Resources Institute, Analysis Laboratory (ALBNRI) professionally engaged in nutrients analysis and research on food and feedstuffs. ALBNRI is an authoritative testing organization with the third-party fair status approved both by CNAL and CMA .It covers an area of 450 square meters equipped with 15 sets of large-scale testing instrument. There are 18 professional staffs with well experience on nutritional analysis technology in ALBNRI.

ALBNRI Analysis Capability:
The nutrients analysis items in ALBNRI include conventional items analysis, amino acids analysis, fatty acids analysis, vitamins analysis, minerals & elements analysis and others.
The food and feedstuffs we analyzed was divided into six categories including common food, infant formula & milk powder, meat, fruits & vegetables, animal & botany fat and feedstuffs. The detailed analysis consists of 122 different items whose data can be reported with authority.
Now ALBNRI is able to provide the comprehensive analysis on “Nutrition Label” along with “Nutrition Label” regulation carried out by our government, we can also do help in making domestic “Nutrition Label” style or the other kinds of style especially of USA for some food manufacture while they import or export products.
Test standard:
We can fully meet nutrients analysis requirement by using standard national, industrial and correlative international analysis method. Furthermore our technology platform has accorded with the criterion of good international laboratories and meanwhile we have reach the similar level compared to the other analysis organization in the world.
Research project in the near future:
ALBNRI has finished two research projects funded by National Science and Technology Ministry in 2006. They are: (1) Fundamental project: “The study on the analysis technique of food nutritional ingredients and functional ingredients”(mainly including Gingko Flavanone、Ginseng Soap Glucoside, oliga-Fructose, oliga-Isomaltosa.) (2)The principle project: “The comparative study on analysis technique and establish new analysis technique”(meeting the requirement of nutrition label).
Appendix:
According to research topic in 2007 and 2008, the institute successively finished the following declaration and Appraisal assigned by the government.
1. Determination of total,soluble and insoluble dietary fiber in foods— Enzyme weight method.
2. Fat (Total, Saturated, and Unsaturated) in foods—Hydrolytic Extraction Gas Chromatography Method.
3. Determination of cholesterol in foods— high-performance liquid chromatography method.
4. Determination of fructose, glucose, sucrose, maltose, lactose in foods — High-performance liquid chromatography method.
5. Determination of xylitol, sorbitol, maltitol in foods — High-performance liquid chromatography method.
6. Determination of total,soluble and insoluble dietary fiber in foods(including Resistant Dextrin) — Enzyme weight method and highly effective liquid phase chromatograph.
